% Arabica - Multiple Stores
Japanese coffee brand, % Arabica, continues to expand its presence across Asia. StudioSZ has been hired to document multiple stores in cities like Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, and Chengdu. Arabica’s minimal style and familiar all-white aesthetic is at the forefront of many of our interior design photographs.

StudioSZ has been engaged by Paris-based architecture and interior design studio, ARCHIEE, to photograph multiple Arabica stores throughout Asia. Our primary goal for these photoshoots was to create a set of photos that are as sleek, minimal, and clean as the Arabica brand itself.

Photographing glass storefronts always includes the challenge of how to deal with and minimize distracting reflections. Shooting the coffee shops at dawn combined with coordinating with nearby tenants proved to be a successful strategy.

For each Arabica shoot, StudioSZ was able to create a set of photographs with a consistent aesthetic that aligns with the Japanese coffee store’s global branding.
